Gettings Started

[edit]

This article is desperately in need of a make over. Its horibly out of date and lacking a great deal of information. Alyeska 07:33, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Might be able to find some good info here. http://www.gateworld.net/interviews/the_real_weir.shtml Morphh 14:39, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A picture of Jessica Steen as Weir would make a good addition. Anyone have one? (DrZarkov 03:35, 25 September 2006 (UTC))[reply]

I think it's appropriate to put a fair-use image, after all when we see the character it's only available on the show. Enigma3542002 05:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
However, some other show pages Horatio Caine use the same pic as the actor's page. Enigma3542002 05:15, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Aiden Ford article is an example. Enigma3542002 05:16, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
for the moment i will crop a promo picture of the group, i dont see how that could make problems --Mr.Amonra 04:47, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
i have made some changes to the page, it needs some cleanup and order in season 1 and 2. if someone wants to add references, would be great.--Mr.Amonra 07:01, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

in the blog of malliozi (not sure) it is stated that weir will aper as centric character in this mortal coil, in omnipedia are the details, someone could add it --Mr.Amonra 20:51, 17 October 2007 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr.Amonra (talkcontribs) 20:47, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cut chunk from Character Biography

[edit]

The following chunk was cut from the Character Biography. All the information was covered later in the article and properly explained in context. If anything the whole article needs to be more succint and provide a broader overview with less jargon. Inlcuding here because I'm not in favour of deleting without discussion and on the off-chance someone wants to put it back and attempt to rephrase it but I strongly encourage otherwise. -- Horkana (talk) 02:27, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

After taking part in a mission to save Atlantis by stealing a ZPM from the Asurans, Weir was trapped on Asuras. It was revealed by a rogue Asuran impersonating Dr. Keller that Dr. Weir was killed by the Asurans because her human side conflicted with the rest of the Asurans' programming. However, at the conclusion of the episode Ghost in the Machine, Weir, who has obtained a Replicator body, attempted to return to Atlantis to produce human bodies for her and a group of others. While creating human bodies to transfer their consciousnesses into, one Replicator broke free from the contained room by shutting the power down. After being disabled, the group decides to leave Atlantis to prevent further threats to them. The Replicators are tricked by Weir into walking through a Stargate into space. The episode ends with the crew of Atlantis believing it to be the real Weir.
