Removing "in character" image?

[edit]

@Davey2010: For others interested, this is about this image removal, where Davey writes: (Rm image - character images should be on the chaarcter articles only). I don't think that's true. For example, look at John Wayne where not just the first, but nearly every single photo, is of John Wayne "in character". The point of a photo is to tell the user what the article subject looks like. This photo does that. I mean, I might be able to see the argument that if Cruz were heavily made up in character that it doesn't really tell the user what she looks like, if we had a better one, but in this case, (a) we don't have any other image, so this one is clearly better than nothing, and (b) in it, she just looks like herself. In fact, I'm not so sure she is "in character" - she is being interviewed about her role in the movie, it's not an excerpt from the movie, I'm not at all sure that is her costume in the movie, it's just a hooded sweatshirt, are you sure that isn't just something she threw on between scenes? I haven't seen the film, have you? --GRuban (talk) 19:54, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GRuban - I've self reverted ? .... Character images uploaded to WP can't actually be put in any article except the character however I wasn't aware that this A) was taken from YT and B) uploaded to Commons hence why I reverted, Regardless of whether the face is shown or their whole body It still should only be on that article however all that doesn't apply here, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:00, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why my fix in the page is removed?

[edit]

Hello, my fix on the page was removed, it was the "and is", it was supposed to fix a issue that might conflict with the left side of ref. [3] that only uses a comma? official_frar (talk) 12:35, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
