Is this based on cd(u,k) or cd(u,m)?[edit]

From the page for Jacobi elliptic functions, it says "The second variable might be given in terms of the parameter m, or as the elliptic modulus k, where k^2=m". Is this equation using k or m for the second parameter?

The discrimination factor is not the lowest but the largest value[edit]

"According to Mathworld, the source of this article, the discrimination factor Ln(\xi) is not the lowest but the largest value Rn(\xi,x) can have for |x|>= 1" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Furyer (talkcontribs) 10:07, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear sentences in the introduction[edit]

" I thought, to be a rational function it is required that a condition K'(1/L_n) / K(1/L_n) = n K'(1/\xi) / K(1/\xi) to hold, here K'(k) = K'(\sqrt(1-k^2))." This must be clarified. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ndcroos (talkcontribs) 16:43, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. If people need to read it, they can read it here. 84.226.214.17 (talk) 22:56, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

The plot at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rational_Elliptic_Function_(abs,_n%3D4,_x%3D(0,5)).svg has an error in Y axis title R3 instead R4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Purple-bobby (talkcontribs) 20:28, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
