History[edit]

I believe Oregon State Route 126 passed through Elmira before the road was realigned in 19??. A quick google doesn't turn up the history of this. Any info would be appreciated. Katr67 14:37, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, HWY126 used to go north up Territorial Rd., and then west on Suttle Rd. The light didn't pass through. I was very young when that got changed, but I vaguely remember it happening. Mazakar 16:01, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need to make some scans of my Oregon Country Fair pictures, but I think Elmira residents would agree that the fair doesn't accurately reflect the culture of the area. :) Katr67 17:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When I lived in Elmira, The Oregon Country Fair, pretty much kept me at home... I never actually attended, and the crime rate (according to my parents) went up a little! haha... but they might have just been trying to scare me... Mazakar 15:22, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
