Dates to be checked
[edit]It would be appreciated if the writer of this article, or someone who knows the history of northeast Derbyshire, to check the dates in this portion:
- "By 1984 Creswell had grown into a hamlet of 30 - 40 houses. The Midland Railway was constructed west of the hamlet in 1975 and the Beighton branch of the Lancashire, Derby and East Coast Railway was constructed a little further west in 1886/97."
Another question, did Creswell or Elmton appear in the Domesday Book or not?
This is a long article, out of proportion to the size of the place being described. Perhaps it could be pared down.--Oldontarian (talk) 15:34, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
