Elyse Luray is no longer with History Detectives

[edit]

I received this reply from someone that works at Oregon Public Broadcasting, the show that produces History Detectives, on the PBS History Detectives main website:

That's correct Edwin—Gwen, Elyse, and Eduardo have left the History Detectives. We've added a new team member though, the fantastic Kaiama Glover, and Wes and Tukufu are in every episode this season as well.

Having now seen two episodes of the new history detectives, Elyse is sorely missed. The other two not so much. The show itself is also appears much more contrived - the hosts obviously aren't very good actors!
