"can it be left alone" - in a word, no. As it says above the edit box every time you write something for Wikipedia " Work submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used and redistributed by other people at will."

In addition, the previous content you have added is entirely inappropriate in tone for an encyclopedia and so even if you "add sources" to that version it will either be completely re-written or removed.

as someone with a conflict of interest, the best method to proceed is for you to provide the sources here on the talk page and let third parties enter what they consider appropriate into the article. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:44, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
