Band name
[edit]Apart from a few late-period retrospective live releases (and some early singles), it appears they never actually used a comma between Emerson and Lake. I've looked at the sleeves of all their canonical works and they are all rendered as "Emerson Lake & Palmer". Apart from those anomalies, the only exception seems to be "Emerson, Lake & Powell" which is a different band anyway.
It can be argued that they had no (or limited) artistic control those anomalies (late retrospective live releases, early singles) and so those did not reflect their artistic intentions.
Therefore I believe the name of the page needs to be changed to remove the comma. Hey, gotta do something to fill up a boring boxing day ... --Matt Westwood 09:21, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Song named "Tank"
[edit]Is there a relationship of this song with the (also) instrumental song "Tank" that is used as intro music for the TV series Cowboy Bebop? They are clearly different...yet with some striking similarities. According to wikipedia, in 1999 " Tank! and The Real Folk Blues were ranked the 3rd and 15th best songs respectively" for anime series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.44.130 (talk) 22:02, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
Songs section
[edit]The song section is unique to this albums page, why ? no other album article has a song section. I support its removal. - Mlpearc (open channel) 17:53, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
Bach Invention No. 1 in C Major quoted in Take a Pebble
[edit]In the section with the piano solo over the ostinato, there's a distinct and extended quote from Bach's Invention no. 1 that no one seems to mention online. Am I hearing things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:C5D0:D680:714A:7942:BA87:4977 (talk) 04:23, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
