"Alternate name"?

[edit]

Is the term "kidney dish" exclusively British English? I see there's a recommendation to merge this page with that one, which has photo illustrations but doesn't mention the term "emesis basin" in a reciprocal fashion. Meanwhile, the page (or both) could do with an emendation regarding the geographic distribution of the two terms. -- Deborahjay (talk) 17:41, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree these topics should be merged, but I think the title should be "emesis basin", as I believe that is the proper term. I work for a medical distributor, and that is what we and our vendors call them (not a reliable source, I know, just sayin'). Perhaps the difference in names is geographic? Either way, it doesn't seem like this is a high priority. 216.70.183.48 (talk) 17:58, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge them, but keep the name emesis basin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.90.202.90 (talk) 14:28, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
