Inline citations

[edit]

I added this tag to the article because there are bare url links under the References section - and there are a number of places that there are no inline citations. Perhaps:

https://independent.ng/tag/ogwilaya/
https://books.google.com/books?id=TMj0DwAAQBAJ&dq=who+is+an+oletu+in+benin&pg=PT76

could be formatted into citations. Here's the formatted citations:

<ref name="Ogwilaya">{{Cite web |date=2021-05-17 |title=Ogwilaya |url=https://independent.ng/ |access-date=2024-04-09 |website=Independent Nigeria Newspaper |language=en-GB}}</ref>
<ref name="Edafewotu">{{Cite book |last=Edafewotu |first=Endurance O. |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=TMj0DwAAQBAJ&dq=who+is+an+oletu+in+benin&pg=PT76 |title=The Isoko Ethnic Nationality: In Time Perspective |date=2019-11-09 |publisher=DENJOS |language=en}}</ref>

To use one more than once, you just need to use: <ref name="Ogwilaya" /> or <ref name="Edafewotu" />.

Thanks so much for your work on this article!–CaroleHenson (talk) 23:33, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
