World records
[edit]I notice that the list of George's world records in this article doesn't match Women's pole vault world record progression; specifically, the other article omits the 4.30m on 28 January 1996. I don't know enough about pole vaulting to know which article is correct, but I think the two articles should probably match. DH85868993 (talk) 01:54, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- I have noticed earlier that the official lists only note each jumper's (or thrower's, I guess) best result in a single competition. One example is Jonathan Edwards's triple jump record, which he bettered during the competition – and only the second jump is in the lists. Fomalhaut76 (talk) 19:25, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Lost what?
[edit]She set twelve world records in a row in the late nineties, but she lost it on 26 May 2000 to Stacy Dragila and was unable to recapture it .
