Needs more diverse sources

[edit]

Sources need to be more diverse than Orthoptics Australia and the Australian Dictionary of Biography - there seem to be references available from different sources than these ones e.g. consider some results via Google Scholar. Dl2000 (talk) 23:53, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like a nice idea, but I question the use of "need". We have lots of articles with one good source.... (and some with none!) This one has several different authors. If anyone is moved to add stuff from Google Scholar then that is usually a good source and it will improve this article. They may find your advice helpful. Thanks. Ideally sources other than Orthoptics Australia and ADB should be found, in the spirit of WP:PSTS. OA can be considered primary, ADB tertiary, so ideally we'd want one or more secondary sources besides these to help support content, notability, etc. Hopefully those can be added in due course; in hindsight, "other sources exist" may not have been the ideal designation to identify that gap.
