Original research and speculation?[edit]

This article presents two different accounts of Tuoba Gui's early life, but apart from insufficient citations, the analysis that follows them comes across as original research, particularly the bullet points under "Alternate version" that analyzes the plausibility of either. These bullet pointed explanations are written more like an individual is making conversation, like in a Reddit post, and less so with an encyclopedic voice. They also contain so much speculation with no citations to professional sources for the speculation.

As well, the second account is stated to be from the Book of Jin and Book of Song, but the first account is simply stated as "the official accounts". The article refers again to the first account as "the official version" or "official accounts" in other places, and it is never clear what is even the title of the source being so designated as "official". If the bullet points cannot be sourced, I can only recommend that we remove them from the article. Sol Pacificus (talk) 08:07, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
