Comments[edit]

Can someone explain why Empress Ulanara was changed to Empress Hoifanara? What are your sources for the change in name? I found this Chinese magazine that claims there was a mistake but doesn't mention where the source of the information is from : https://www.theworldofchinese.com/2018/09/hair-razing/ I consider this dubious as there is no citations on the article and there seems to be a lot of focus on the Story of Yanxi Palace. 121.7.250.174 (talk) 15:51, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Western Dates to the Article and Other Nitpicking[edit]

I'm speaking for the "Issue" section. Yongji, Fifth Princess, and Yongjing's lifespans are only specified in traditional dates, dates that cannot be understood by most of Western readers. Please change this, as I cannot (as the page is locked). Another error I noticed in this section is that the title the Empress held when she had a child was never specified. I have all the information this section lacks so that you do not have to look elsewhere:

Yongji was born on 7 June 1752 and died on 17 March 1776. The Fifth Princess was born on 23 July 1753 and died on 1 June 1755. Yongjing was born on 22 January 1756 and died on 7 September 1757. All three of these children were born after their mother had already become Empress.

Thank you for your consideration. Have a wonderful rest of your day.--ThatSleepyQingEmpress (talk) 18:53, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
