Reason for page[edit]

Many things occurred in the lead up to termination including the dissolution of the League of Nations 2 years earlier and the creation of the UN following Yalta.Some of these matters are dealt with briefly in Mandatory_Palestine#Termination_of_the_Mandate and in British_Mandate_for_Palestine_(legal_instrument)#Termination but can be usefully expanded and added to.
