William Morris Endeavor → WME-IMG – Current name of the company. The name "William Morris Endeavor" has not been used since 2012. Sykess (talk) 08:13, 12 July 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Eventhorizon51 (talk) 01:37, 23 July 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. — JFG talk 22:02, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- Support - Per WP:COMMONNAME Overwhelmingly more Google hits for WME-IMG. Meatsgains (talk) 23:43, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:ACRONYMTITLE. This is not a widely known acronym such as NATO or UNICEF, so we should spell out the full version. And from the website,[1], copyright notice at the bottom, we see that the name "William Morris Endeavor" is clearly still active. Furthermore, the website does *not* use the acronym WME-IMG. It only says WME. — Amakuru (talk) 10:06, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- No, this is incorrect. WME-IMG refers to the entire entity. WME is all but a division of WME-IMG. ViperSnake151 Talk 15:33, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- Well it sounds like you're referring not to WME but to its parent company then. If that is notable in its own right, then it should have a separate article. But this article is not for the holding company, it is clearly about the talent agency. And the assertion above that
"William Morris Endeavor" has not been used since 2012
is patently false, since the name still appears on the talent agency's own website. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 17:44, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
