Question[edit]
This is a very good article.
Quoting one sentence: "Enfield's Town Park is however the only public remnant of the open space that was once Enfield Old Park."
This raises the question in my mind, in its long history, was Enfield Old Park ever "open to the public"?
To put it another way, was the purpose of the fence to keep the game in or to keep the public out, or both?
