Sourcing
[edit]A recent series of edits added a number of questionable sources. I'll start with the two worst ones:
- Uncle John's Weird Weird World is an anthology of trivia with no established expertise or reputation for fact-checking.
- They Bite is a compendium of fringe/horror claims ranging from "vampire erotica" to hellhounds and monster dogs. Nowhere close to being a reliable source, it also commits the error of grouping several sightings into one purported species and claiming that it has been given a "provisional" scientific name. –dlthewave ☎ 22:00, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
