Name change?[edit]

This topic will probably need a name change, since it is about the first divison of the leage, but what is the official name of the league? It seems like every website has a different name for it! -- Asdf1248 07:18, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was just going to ask the same question. Since 2006, the first divion league has renamed to 富邦企業足球聯賽. I'm not sure what its English name should be because I cannot find any translation on the Internet. Maybe Fubon Enterprise Football League? Besides, currently there're only 4 teams in the league: Tatung, Taipower, China Steel (奧運代表隊), and Fubon (中華男足=國訓?). -- scchiang 11:42, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What the...but 國訓 is Lu Kuang, a.k.a. the Taiwan army team. Maybe we should wait until the CTFA site is fully up to see? -- Asdf1248 12:45, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's the answer: "由中華男足培訓隊化身的富邦金控、北京奧運培訓隊化身的中國鋼鐵,與台灣足壇老牌勁旅大同、台電進行3循環熱戰,將為台灣再掀足球高峰!"[1] -- scchiang 14:25, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm...so that's the 2006 season over. Do you know where the game stats and results can be found? CTFA's website takes forever to upgrade. -- Asdf1248 15:07, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm editing it in my own sub page since I don't know which name is better. I cannot find official reports in CTFA. The results I used are based on the reports of LTSPorts. -- scchiang 16:05, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should we seperate Fubon Enterprise Football League to a new page? -- scchiang 12:44, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm...I don't think we need to. After all, it is sort of the same league, just with new sponsorship. However, I'll make the Fubon Enterprise Football League topic to redirect to this topic. -- Asdf1248 13:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to move the page under the new name "Enterprise Football League". I don't think it will change back to "National Football League (first division)" in the near future. -- scchiang 11:26, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm...maybe "Taiwan Enterprise Football League"? I dunno...I just feel that it needs to stay "Taiwan-ish." Also, in [2], it labels the full name as "中華民國九十六年企業足球聯賽,簡稱『企業聯賽』." -- Asdf1248 03:15, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
