Merge[edit]

There is little mention of Epimachus in the joint article, yet Gordianus seems never mentioned without Epimachus. They are venerated together, with churches dedicated to them jointly. Suggest combining these two stubs with all the other variations relative to Epimachus. Manannan67 (talk) 02:10, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Manannan67: to merge seems very sensible, but shouldn't it be the broader topic, Gordianus and Epimachus. That way there can also be a discussion of other Gordianus's in a more natural (less surprising) way. Klbrain (talk) 16:47, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since we have Epimachus, Gordianus, and Gordianus and Epimachus perhaps paragraphs #1 & 4 of the latter should go to Gordianus (since they pertain to him) and paragraphs #2 & 3 go to both. We certainly don't need a joint article when they each have their own. Manannan67 (talk) 19:23, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Manannan67 and Klbrain: I have tried to sort it out. I think three pages are warranted. Srnec (talk) 17:06, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Srnec: That's fine with me; thanks for working on it. Klbrain (talk) 17:16, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
