Very deep[edit]

The term "very deep" is used in the first paragraph of the current version. I don't know if this is a technical term, and if it is, what does it mean? If it is not, there must be a better term than "very deep." Please clarify. Oswald Glinkmeyer (talk) 01:16, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's been there since the start of this article, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean either. It doesn't seem to fit the definition in Mathematical jargon#deep: it's not a result, it's a problem, so we don't know what sort of techniques would be needed to solve it.
