The OC and 24

He's one of the three actors to appear on both 24 and the OC (Eddie on The OC, Milo on 24) Along with, Alan Dale (Kaleb on the OC, Vice President on 24), and Navi Rawat (Theresa on the OC, Melanie on 24)

He's not mentioned as being Scottish, yet Balfour is a Scottish name. Was he born with it or was it changed? He sure has an "ethnic" look...could easily play Italian, Greek, Arab, etc.

That is probably due to his Native American ancestry.

To me he looks super Jewish (and super cute Jewish). When it says Russian, I assume it means Russian Jewish. 15:38, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

He never revealed such...He merely said "Russian", and I assume he would have revealed if he were Jewish due to the fact that he was talking about his ethnicity in his interview and the reason he can play characters of different ethnic backgrounds. Michael 05:33, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed statement

There was a statement re: Lie with Me that said it contained unsimulated sexual acts. In fact the only thing seen on camera is one of the actresses can be seen holding a penis. Scientologist

Should this article include a statement that Balfour is a member of the cult of Scientology? Numerous articles on other actors who are or were members of that cult are identified as such in those articles.DesertSkies120 (talk) 22:34, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Danny Masterson support letter

Can we please form a consensus as to whether it's appropriate to mention that Balfour apparently wrote a letter supporting Danny Masterson? My view is that it's inappropriate unless a source can be provided that focuses specifically on Balfour's support, versus a source that just mentions him in passing. Thank you for your opinion, but please don't change the article until other editors have had an opportunity to offer their opinions as well.
