"First non-somatotopic space map..."[edit]
One sentence reads:
"This discovery was groundbreaking because it unearthed the first non-somatotopic space map in the brain,"
referring to the auditory space map. Wasn't the retinotopic map discovered much earlier than the auditory space map, and isn't the retinotopic map also a space map?
