I don't know why Swenson was deemed "non-notable." Is that a dig at Whitney Biennials or something? Please don't delete this again. If you get into a Whitney Biennial, have a solo show at the Hammer Museum and have Charles Saatchi own your work, then you are a notable artist, no? What other criteria do you use?

I have to agree (as an ex-art-history major, for the record). Saatchi's a major collector of contemporary art, and anybody he owns ought to be considered notable. And the Whitney Biennial's nothing to sneeze at, either.

I've attempted to clean the article up and added a news source. Based on his appearance at the Biennale and his works held in important collections, he's likely to meet WP:ARTIST. Sionk (talk) 21:43, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
