Age

[edit]

Erin's age is clearly given as 34 in the January 2015 interview with the Daily Record. Please stop trying to obfuscate her age. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.15.22.107 (talkcontribs) 20:56, September 11, 2021 (UTC)

Attempts are being made to conceal this person's age. Her age is clearly stated as 34 in the January 2015 Daily Record interview.
There are clear attempts by whoever is reverting the edits on this page to conceal her age, which isn't how a Wikipedia listing works. I will be asking for this page to be locked to prevent further attempts at vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gallus Alice (talkcontribs) 21:00, September 14, 2021 (UTC)

Birth year

Have applied for this page to be locked due to repeated attempts by users, including one claiming to be Erin Gavin, to conceal this person's age. Daily Record interview from February 07 2004 states Ms Gavin's age to be 25. January 2015 interview with Daily Record states her age to be 34. Interview with The Scottish Sun on 16 August 2021 claims her age to be 35.
Original edit does not claim that Erin Gavin was 34 in the January 2015, simply that this is the age stated in the interview. Given the inconsistent ages reported in the press over the years for this person, it is impossible to give an exact age.
If attempts to conceal and remove references to publications that state this person's age continue to be removed, I will be asking for the entry to be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gallus Alice (talkcontribs) 05:53, September 15, 2021 (UTC)

The Royal Academy

[edit]

"Early Life" section of the entry states subject attended "The Royal Academy". This links to a page for The Royal Scottish Academy, which is a national gallery for contemporary art. Given its inclusion in the "Early Life" section of the entry, this seems to imply Ms Gavin attended "The Royal Academy" for schooling. It is unclear to me how someone could have attended a public art gallery for schooling? Think this needs to be clarified. User talk:Gallus Alice, 07:44, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Probably the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow - it was called the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama until 2011. But I can't find any sources supporting this... Adam Sampson (talk) 17:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
