Syrenka Cup honour notability?

If there is no wikipedia article about this youth competition, is it noteworthy enough to include in an honours section? I've also seen it on one or two other players honours section, including Jude Bellingham, but nowhere else. Thanks. Rupert1904 (talk) 09:49, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

There is a wikidata item (Q6379259) and a wiki article in Polish, and a search suggests that there are enough sources available that if anyone created an article in English it could pass notability. So probably worth including it somewhere in the article, but also unsure if this should be in the honours or just as part of the international career/youth section. In career statistics, Games and goals total for Molde does not add up correctly 82.14.69.69 (talk) 16:04, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

Already done Aaron Liu (talk) 21:57, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
His height was measured when he signed for Manchester City and has been confirmed to be 195.2cm, not 194cm. This was confirmed in the "Inside City 398| Haaland special" video on Manchester City's official, Youtube channel. PoiletTaper (talk) 19:05, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
Hi! It looks like his updated height measurement has reverted back to where it was before. Did something occur? PoiletTaper (talk) 20:27, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

All competitions in the Premier League

"Haaland scored his 45th goal across all competitions in the Premier League, breaking the previous record of 44 goals across all competitions in a season held by Ruud van Nistelrooy and Mohamed Salah."

Yet another nonsense record, just like "goals in a calendar year" for leagues that are played from August to May. It's either a Premier League record (or a top division record if it's for all time) or an "all competitions" record, it makes no sense if you try to mix them. I think the sentence should be removed. --Jameboy (talk) 16:17, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

Career statistics table misleading

The grand total for the table includes some numbers which are not in bold text (2016 and 2017 single year seasons) which is confusing to the reader. Suggest that the format for this table is updated, either with bolds on single year seasons or with an explanatory note. 85.255.233.81 (talk) 05:26, 22 May 2023 (UTC)

Haaland is 195,2cm

His height is already referenced citing the Premier League. TylerBurden (talk) 16:18, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
I already requested this update, and it was updated to 195CM by Aaron Liu, but it seems to have reverted back to his outdated height measurement again. PoiletTaper (talk) 20:30, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
Interestingly this week he stated that he is 196 cm tall And I would think he would know it is actually possible he hasn’t stopped growing yet ( my brother didn’t until mid twenties) so just a slight growth from 195.2 would put him close enough to round up so at the mo 195 or 196 seem appropriate stats but 194 falls short 2A00:23EE:15D8:23C0:803F:CE09:ED6D:8939 (talk) 09:12, 2 June 2023 (UTC)

Career stats

The career totals for matches and goals does not correspond with the different subtotals. If you add the subtotals you get 220 matches and 200 goals. The career total mentionq 240 matches and 202 goals. 185.61.72.113 (talk) 09:13, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

The numbers are correct, the sub-totals are for multiple seasons at a club, but your total does not include the figures for single seasons: Bryne and Molde 2 (20 appearances and 2 goals) which are easy to miss as they are not in bold. EdwardUK (talk) 11:48, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
Understood, thanks for the clarification. The format of the table is a bit misleading and easy to read incorrectly. 185.61.72.122 (talk) 13:59, 5 June 2023 (UTC)

His nationality is wrong as he was born in England and thus it needs to be changed to English Gudjohnsen89 (talk) 12:40, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Also note, someone's birthplace does not universally dictate their nationality. --Pinchme123 (talk) 18:09, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
@Gudjohnsen89 He was born in England because both of his (Norwegian) parents lived there because of his father's job, and moved to Norway as a toddler. As far as I know, he is not even a British citizen. Is Emma Watson French because she was born in Paris? TylerBurden (talk) 18:56, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

Honours: order

Honours should be ordered in the following manner: international, continental, domestic (league, cup, league cup, super cup) per WP:FOOTY#Honours. So why are domestic honours ordered above international and continental honours in this case, as well as many other players? Bocanegra (talk) 15:19, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

Update

Mention about his contribution to City’s treble in both the summary and in his career section 2A00:23C7:8119:2C01:6D7B:C667:C2D1:1F64 (talk) 22:59, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

In the career section it says that he made his debut for Molde when coming on against Sarpsborg 08 and getting a yellow card, as well as scoring the winning goal in the 77th minute. He did come on and get a yellow card, but it was in the game away against Tromsø IL two months later that he came on to score the winner in the 77th minute, which was also his first goal in senior football.

These two sentences make it seem like his firs goal was against Sarpsborg 08, and not Tromsø: "Haaland's debut in the Eliteserien came on 4 June, being brought on as a 71st minute substitute against Sarpsborg 08. After receiving a yellow card in just over a minute of play on the pitch, Haaland scored the winner for Molde in the 77th minute, his first goal in the league."

I have split the information and added a citation for the goal against the Tromsø EdwardUK (talk) 18:18, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

In the summer of 2022, he transferred to Manchester City for a fee of €60 million

Teams selection

Feels a bit unecessary tp include the Bryne and Molde reserve teams? They don't function in the same way, for example, as Barca B or Castilla works. 155.137.26.13 (talk) 14:36, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

The appearances for these reserve teams came in the senior league system in Norway, much the same as the teams you quote from Spain. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:42, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
