(Further details: the edit of 22:05, 16 May 2006, which at this time still comprised the majority of the entry, was a direct copy & paste of the NY Times biography. Changes since then have largely consisted of adding an infobox, removing some of the more blatant NPOV phrases, and disambiguation of links. I've salvaged those bits from the current entry, and added a line from an earlier entry.
