Converted from what?[edit]

The article says: "In 1956 he converted to Roman Catholicism (his mother had had him baptized during the war in order to save him from being sent to a concentration camp)." The concentration-camp reference implies that he was Jewish prior to his conversion, but the article never says so, making this sentence read a bit weirdly. --Delirium 09:13, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Position in the art world[edit]

The lead text states: "Besides Dali, no one has had such a profound effect on artists working in the surreal and visionary art movements." While I will not put this into questioning, a source for this would be nice.
