GA Review

[edit]

Okay, I'll take this one.

  • The page just has one section, "History". Can this be broken up, or can more material be added?
  • The infobox had some formatting issues which I fixed (e.g., "instrument" was empty.) Fixed.
  • Is there any info on his musical stylings? I don't see much of anything about that.
    • Yes, the following sentence: "His music fused hip hop music with the lyrical content of death metal. Smith labeled this style "acid rap," comparing the lyrics to hallucinations induced by LSD." (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 18:23, 17 August 2008 (UTC))[reply]
  • The discography page, while not a part of the article per se, should be formatted in table form for prime legibility. See Carrie Underwood discography, which is a featured list, for an example of a proper discography.
  • No image or date of birth? These aren't essential, but it would be nice to have them.
  • Sourcing looks decent. Like I said, it could use more fleshing out, and that would probably require more sources to be added.

I'll give this a week for improvement. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 17:14, 17 August 2008 (UTC) Some more points:[reply]

  • A section on critical reception is needed. Cite some third-party reviews and what they thought of his albums.
  • Quote from QST: "In the next section ("Natas and KKKill the Fetus"), it mentions his school he attended. That should be mentioned in the Early life too."
  • "In October, Esham appeared on..." Which October?
  • Another quote from QST: "Citation 14 needs to state the URL of the publishing website rather than "southcoast247", which it currently has."
