I've just had a listen to the preview of "I want to be an Eddie Stobart driver" on iTunes, and it doesn't sound anything like Combine Harvester. I'm going to remove that bit; let me know if you object. PeteVerdon 07:32, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Poor article

This is not well written. It adds too much opinion and not enough clear NPOV facts. Mr Stobart must have worked hard to build up his company but that is a viewpoint not a referenced fact? Furthermore there is a propensity to over elaborate on some things but not on others. For instance, the growth of the company could be either condensed to a simple "grew from an agricultural business" or it should be more clinical about the growth i.e. expansion = turnover. That is what is encyclopedic, not a homely narrative about dear old hard-working Steady Eddy and his "quaint" ways.

Death of Edward Stobart

Edward 'Eddie' Stobart died this afternoon at the age of 56 at a hospital in Coventry. Perhaps, this should be added to this article as there is no seperate article concerning Stobart and his father? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.217.240.27 (talk) 16:43, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Driver rules

I'm surprised that the article fails to mention the strict dress code, which was notable enough to be mentioned in the BBC obituary for Stobart. (Drivers were, allegedly, expected to wear a shirt and tie even when changing a wheel in sweltering weather.) Could somebody with hard knowledge expand on this? Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 3 external links on Stobart Group. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
