Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because cited sources include NYT, MSNBC, and book by Mark Pendergrast. Notability is asserted in several regards: pioneering latte art, groundbreaking roasting techniques, influencing training of baristas in espresso shops across the country. Why would any one use CSD G11 less than 24 hours after an editor has literally asserted notability on the talk page? If you know your speedy deletion will be contested, why are you not using AfD? Because bureaucratic jumping through hoops is fun? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 02:32, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
