Accuracy question[edit]

I found a notice that this article was on VFD, but don't see any evidence that it's ever been put there. The whole thing sounds pretty ridiculous to me...an article about an obscure company logo supposedly based on an obscure reference in a Simpson's episode. What does it mean, exactly, that it's a horse whose head and body (what's left???) are those of a rabbit? WHAT PART, EXACTLY, IS THE "HORSE"???? I'd send it to BJAODN and {{speedy}} it, but I'll let someone else do that. Tomer TALK 08:12, September 1, 2005 (UTC)

That's the joke, of course. Morwen - Talk 08:19, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Perhaps it's genetically a horse... anyway I've rewritten the article to report how it's described, not what it is. Kappa 08:21, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • You need more of the context, to understand the joke. The scene was a renaissance fair, and Chief Wiggum ran a medieval bestiary, supposedly displaying animals that people in the Middle Ages believed to exist. The esquilax is fictional, and the joke is that Wiggum displays a rabbit, but it's an esquilax, a horse with the head of a rabbit, and the body of a rabbit. Hope that helps understand the reference better. TheBaron0530 (talk) 16:22, 16 March 2012 (UTC)theBaron0530[reply]

Article[edit]

I think that the Esquilax should have its own article. I expanded it.Anonymous_anonymous Have a Nice Day 21:41, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
