Please provide specific suggestions or critique in order to be able to improve the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bci2 (talkcontribs)

It is hard to tell you what to fix, I don't even understand what the article is about. The first paragraph of the article is supposed to summarize the article. In this case the first paragraph talks about what the article is not and what it is not going to talk about. Jons63 (talk) 18:30, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Already done here, right after the article was deleted for the second time. Your efforts are appreciated - we all want to make Wikipedia a better resource - but I don't see a whole lot of evidence that you're trying to learn about how articles are written around here.  Frank  |  talk  18:30, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Quote Marks[edit]

The second half of the Brief History section of this article is a long quoted statement. It's unclear to me if those quotes are necessary, and if they are, what is being quoted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nwalton125 (talkcontribs) 03:46, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic section[edit]

The section on Extensions of Galois's theory for groups seems to be a poor exposition. I don't see how it could be useful for someone who didn't already know what was involved - several strands of ideas are there, rather indiscriminately put together.
