Expanding article.[edit]

I think this article deserves to be expanded. The subject is of sufficient importance to music history and research into mental illness. Sadly, there seems to be a lack of information, other than obituaries. But I have found enough, verifiable details to expand on the article.

"She was frequently romantically associated..."[edit]

In the personal life section, we find that Bennett "was frequently romantically associated with a number of contemporary singers, including Mick Jagger, George Harrison, Johnny Mathis and George Hamilton." Aside from being sloppily written (George Hamilton isn't a singer), the assertion is contentious and uncited. The 2nd New York Times article states that she dated George Harrison and Mick Jagger, so I'm OK with leaving those in. But until someone can find and insert reliable support for Mathis and Hamilton, I feel we should take them out. Also the "frequently romantically associated with a number of..." phrasing comes off like a scandal sheet and should be rephrased. What do you think? Ancestry please?[edit]

Estelle's entry says that her father was Irish-American. Ronnie's entry says that their father was Irish-American and African-American. There doesn't seem to be any question that the sisters had the same father. Can someone determine whether he was Irish-Amerrican or Irish-American and African-American? 2603:800C:3A40:6400:806E:1933:55EA:3060 (talk) 14:10, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
