Size of EHS Property.[edit]

Back when EHS was Eureka Senior High School (before the Marshall Elementary Campus was at least partially added), the property was stated to be at around 10 acres or just under 10 acres. I have no citation for this, but there is no possibility that the property is only 5 acres now. Just the 3 major buildings (Main building, Science Building/Cafeteria, and Jay Willard Gymnasium) cover three city blocks alone. This does not include Albee Stadium (a full-size stadium with support areas and structures), two Baseball fields, the Ag department area/buldings below, Music Department, Industrial Education building, Swimming Pool and structure covering it, tennis courts, Auto shop building and associated fenced yard, at least three or four parking lots (one of which is an entire city block), and the addition of all or at least part of the two city block "old" Marshall Elementary School campus. Also there is the area that was referred to as the sand "pit" below the baseball fields (not sure if that is City of Eureka or EHS land), and the forested and steeper terrain surrounding the stadium, etc. Rough calculations using Google maps put the "usable" area of the campus at about 10 acres, not counting the Marshall site.
