It's good to give some alternatives, but one of the key reasons people use the EDK is precisely that it doesn't get stuck so much, because it's asymmetric and therefore rolls over edges and cracks. Citation no. 2. actually mentions this, so I've deleted the remark on the basis that it is unsubstantiated opinion (which I incidentally don't agree with!) Of course, if the previous claim can be verified, it should be reinserted.

Regarding the photos: Please don´t show a photo of the overhand-EDK with that short rope-tails. The knot HAS TO FAIL that way! The tails have to be at least 30cm or 12 inches long to be save! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.107.32.182 (talk) 14:53, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
