Up-To-Date

[edit]

The Vatican article is now up-to-date however I lack 2 pictures. 2€ commemorative coins are also included as I believe that once all the articles are written and we have more editing time we would change the articles title to e.g. Euro Commemorative Coins (Vatican City) and then we would have specialised pages about Europa Coins, €2 Commemorative coins, etc --Melitikus (talk) 19:11, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

to change the article name to Euro Commemorative Coins (Vatican City) will mean we would have to do the same for the other articles, and as Miguel has said somewhere it would mean changing the rationale on well over 1,000 images.Kevin hipwell (talk) 00:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

oh, i see - so should i keep the 2€ comm coins or delete them?--Melitikus (talk) 06:32, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Using the terminology you said below, this article is for Collector coins and I don't think Commemorative coins work with these articles, we have provided a link to Commemorative coins on the top of every article so there shouldn't be an issue finding it. What I think your looking for is the portal thing Miguel has mentioned, Its like an article that gives a brief intro to a range of articles under a particular topic and also provides links to those articles, so lets say the topic will be Euro Coins and the range will include Circulation coins, Commemorative coins & Collector coins. The portal can include things like a Latest release and Coin of the week section and stuff like that.--Kevin hipwell (talk) 11:32, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology

[edit]

someone said this to me; But don´t forget the new definitions of the EU:

1. Circulation coins = 1 Cent - 2 €

2. Commemorative coins = 2 € special

3. Collector coins = all others

what do you think?--Melitikus (talk) 06:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense to me.Kevin hipwell (talk) 11:20, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
