Propose move to Baltic sturgeon

Proposing rename to Baltic sturgeon which seems more common, and also as per listed in ICUN [1]. --Vsion 05:32, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But genetic evidence has shown, that in the Baltic Sea the European sturgeon was extinct since some centuries and was populated since then by the Atlantic sturgeon. After this evidence they began to repopulate the Baltic Sea with the Atlantic sturgeon, but in other regions they have to wait, cause the (Atlantic sturgeon) Gironde breeding project has not produced offspring until yet. So Baltic sturgeon is a bit anachronistic. --141.35.20.90 15:05, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
