Tributary of two different rivers?

I'm not a geographer, but I'm struggling to make sense of formerly a tributary of California Creek (Val Verde County, Texas) and Devils River—surely it only flowed into one or the other? Or was it diverted at some point? Musiconeologist (talk) 22:35, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
