Nonsensical units[edit]

Despite this, a large warship could still require up to 100 tons of fresh water makeup to the feedwater system, when under full power.

This sentence makes no sense: does it require those 100 tons of water per hour, day or month? I don't have access to the reference, so can't verify (I guess it's a day). I'd appreciate if someone with access to the reference would do that.

"The plant may operate at either a low pressure or slight vacuum, according to design."

However you design it, are those not the same thing, a pressure above atmospheric is best described as just that, if that is meant? Midgley (talk) 22:36, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
