this is the page for explicit
explicit is also a keyword in various programming languages (c++ for example)
Explicit is a word used in logical reasoning. It means exactly how it has been defined with dual conditions and no exception of either or. It must be one, not both. It can be either this or that, but it can not be both. -rw
- Isn't "explicit" at least partially confused with "exclusive" above?-JoergenB (talk) 21:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm removing the iTunes reference, since it is simply repeating what is already explicitly stated (haha) above. It states, "...language or film footage) that might be deemed offensive..." Additionally, if consensus determines that this is some sort of special case where iTunes must be enshrined within wikipedia's definitions, please write it more clearly ("inappropriate" for whom? Also, how is explicit used in songs? That doesn't make sense) and do not simply revert the erasure! Even a reference to general practice of the "Explicit Lyrics" labeling would be more appropriate than a specific reference, but even that'd still be extraneous. Vyxx (talk) 05:06, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
