GA Reassessment[edit]

I find that in the original assessment, closed on 4 June 2013, there is no evidence that the Good article criteria were taken into account. My findings concerning criteria 1 and 2 are below.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):
Spelling and grammar are not correct, this is a problem the whole way through this rather long article. e.g. "Given its widespread touch on the entirety of a major city, it's dubbed one of, along with the Old Firm, the Rome derby and the Istanbul derby, the most heated rivalries in European football." or "Partizan also won the most national championships since the dissolution of Yugoslavia, being a champion thirteen out of twenty-one times." and "For the season 1996–1997, Partizan was reintroduced to European competition following UEFA's lifting of its ban on clubs from Yugoslavia, but while the national team continued where they had stopped in the spring of 1992,[48] the clubs had all their results erased and were treated as beginners in European competitions."
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
A lot of information is unreferenced, e.g. parts of the history section, shirt sponsors, most of the rivalries section. Quotes translated from a foreign language are acceptable but per WP:NONENG, "the original text is usually included with the translated text when translated by Wikipedians", which is not the case at the moment.

  • Having given it a week and seeing that these issues are still outstanding, the appropriate course of action here is to delist this article. C679 14:15, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
