Federal law

"NOTE: On some anti-viral or anti-bacterial facial tissue packaging, it is noted that it is a violation of federal law if used other than as a facial tissue."

Federal law?? "Federal" things do not exist in the UK - and in many, many other countries. This sentence obviously refers to a situation in the USA. I think this has no place in a generic, international article. If you're going to mention some USA-related info, then similar situations from around the world should also be mentioned. Or AT LEAST mention in which country this information applies! Not all countries around the world use "American federal law". On Wikipedia we need to internationalise articles as much as possible. Perhaps the original author can review this please. EuroSong talk 17:05, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

I have removed this statement until it can be verified. -SCEhardT 16:55, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
I've removed the l10n thingy—Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.179.119.111 (talkcontribs)

There have been claims that tissue papers are processed with Diacin (a carcinoma agent) and therefore it is not advisable to use such papers on human skin. Any comments on that please?

Cleanup

Clear introduction, proper sections (history, uses, comparison with handkerchief, brands, chemical additives, etc), appropriate external links... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davido321 (talkcontribs) 09:17, 23 March 2007 (UTC).

Someone edited it to say that tissue is made of human skin... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.57.139.109 (talk) 02:25, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

you guys are idiots Georgie

Claims

The Claims section is confusing and looks like it just came from a source directly. Provides no explanations to any of the terms. YuliEuphemism (talk) 02:20, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry, I killed it.--Teiladnam (talk) 23:18, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

"Award of most use"?

"One person has won the award of most use with facial tissue/wipes. He was nominated into the hall of fame 08 for his ultra use of the product. Cill-2008"

There are so many things wrong with this bit of non-information, I don't even know where to begin. I'm removing it; if someone can decipher what on earth it's supposed to be referencing, determine if it's notable enough, and use a proper citation, they're welcome to add it back in. And in what country is it called "paper handkerchief"??173.88.154.149 (talk) 13:18, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Handkerchief

No link to handkerchief? Seriously? -User:Greroja

Please consider adding it yourself next time - I think it would have been just as fast as commenting here :-) -SCEhardT 21:04, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

I actually didn't have the time... and I wanted to add it not as a link, but as part of the story of the facial tissue... will do tonight no doubt. -User:Greroja

Did a bit now - please clean up and edit if I don't get back until later - like your evolution or advancement of the tissue as certainly some of them are chemical laced. - User:Greroja
