Notability

[edit]

Hi all, here are what I believe to be the three best sources on Factory 25, do these sources seem notable enough to merit a full article? Please let me know your thoughts.

Interview (magazine)[1]

The Wall Street Journal[2]

Brooklyn Magazine[3]

Thanks LeoWinters95. Due to the amount of promotional material submitted in this topic area, our notability standards for companies are quite rigorous. The Interview piece may be considered a WP:PRIMARY source. Brooklyn Magazine may be considered local coverage. Are there any others from the article that I should have a look at? ~Kvng (talk) 15:03, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kvng, thanks for responding. Since the Brooklyn Magazine article is local coverage, would Wikipedia consider that not to be a reputable source? By your estimate do you think the article requires more sources than it currently has in order to be publishable? Or have I possibly overloaded it with too many sources and should cut back? I feel like a lot of prominent publications have talked about Factory 25, but perhaps Wikipedia considers the articles too "promotional" in nature? Here are a few other sources I used. Thanks.

IndieWire[4]

MovieMaker[5]

Filmmaker (magazine) [6]

The New Yorker[7]

Screen International[8]

Thanks LeoWinters95. This subject appears to meet requirements based on coverage in Brooklyn Magazine, IndieWire and Screen International. Any WP:PROMO issues can be handled by other editors. ~Kvng (talk) 16:17, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have redirected Matt Grady here. This should further improve the case for notability. ~Kvng (talk) 16:25, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thanks very much for your help, Kvng — Preceding unsigned comment added by LeoWinters95 (talkcontribs) 20:07, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
