Setting in Plot?

[edit]

I'm thinking about adding a setting section in the plot section, using One Piece (a GA) as a model. We could add settings like Earth-land and of course, the locales and races (i.e. Exceeds, wizards) and note the anachronisms. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:41, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I remember there was a section that did exactly that. It was filled with locales and information that were only mentioned once, never visited, and were overall irrelevant to the story. The information that wasn't removed was instead woven into the plot summary where relevant, as it currently is, with only the essential information needed to understand these concepts (e.g., Exceed being cat-like), and links that contain further reading. Things that may be viewed as essential for a One Piece article do not always reflect what is essential for an article of another series. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 02:20, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As you may recall, I was the one who added it in long ago before it was merged. Since the setting was merged not too long ago, should we rewrite the summary using the Dragon Ball article, which is also a GA, as another reference?
