Article rationale[edit]

This article was created due to notablility of the launch, with is a bit unusual in spaceflight articles, where usually the satellite (or the primary satellite controls the name of the article. The reason is that this particular launch is notable, both for its many scrubs/delays, as well as for the booster recovery that is considered more likely on this third test of the controlled-descent over-ocean flight test and simulated landing of the booster.

Also, as of right now, no OG2 Mission 1 article has been created for the satellite constellation by any editor, and editors of the satellite articles often express opinions that launch vehicle and launch details not be included in those articles. N2e (talk) 12:20, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
