A fact from Fall of Tripoli (1289) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 December 2007, and was viewed approximately 2,807 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
To suggest that any of the Holy Land states lasted the longest of all Frankish conquests is folly indeed. Look to the West and you will see the Kingdom of Cyprus alive from 1192 to 1489, thats 297 years people. Better still look at the Duchy of Athens 1204 to 1456, thats 252 years. In the sentence " Soon other nearby cities were also captured, such as Nephin and Le Boutron", Nephin is linked to a peak in Ireland, which is clearly an incorrect link. I suspect that the author meant Enfeh, a Phoenician town on the Mediterranean https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enfeh. Not knowing the history of the event reported, I am not comfortable making the correction myself.
