No Progress ?[edit]

This is a prommising program. This program when release plainly stated that "Family.Show is a genealogy program that demonstrates the usage of WPF for a complex, realistic scenario"[1]. Also the source code was released to CodePlex.

And does not seem to have progressed any further.

advertizement[edit]

I don't see how this article is substanially more of an advertizement than the articles on Personal Ancestral File, GenealogyJ or any of the other pages in the "Windows-only genealogy software" category.

Why[edit]

Why is this programming example here? should it be deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.17.215.98 (talk) 05:06, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why not? Gives any programmer interested in genealogy a chance to see what many users (myself included) would like to see when the program is user orientated. gioto (talk) 05:52, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Should it really be listed? this program even states that it is not a real genealogy programs and that people should not use it. This is confusing in itself, how about listing some more useable genealogy programs.

New Release[edit]

Version 3 mentions a new .familyx file format (using Open Package Convention) does anyone know which convention and how it compares to GRAMPS open XML package format? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.59.98.97 (talk) 04:23, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest asking the question on the Microsoft Family.Show website, this is not a forum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.11.137.229 (talk) 08:10, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
