Unsupported conjecturein the HISTORY section:

'....the global atmosphere with regard to nuclear energy has changed due to current oil prices....' . The above statement, found in the 'history' section of this article, is unsupported conjecture.

Nuclear power and crude oil are not competitors. Nuclear power is used to produce electricity almost exclusively. Crude oil produces very little electricity (<1% of total electricity in the US); it is mainly used to make fuel for transportation or converted into various plastics and other chemicals.

The statement in question is naive and should be removed.
