Sting Vs. Triple H??

[edit]

It's just going to be a face to face confrontation, not a match!Wikitranser (talk) 08:32, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is official match — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:0:8600:ECE:A466:2401:51E6:7750 (talk) 13:44, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Compelling arguments all. I count two "Is not!"s and one "Is too!" - SummerPhD (talk) 18:31, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

C next to Rusev

[edit]

He appears to be US champ going into this event, do we not put the C next to his name because the title isn't confirmed to be on the line yet? Ranze (talk) 02:36, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fast Lane to Fastlane

[edit]

This page was originally created under the name "Fast Lane", the page has since been moved. "Fastlane" is the official title WWE is using for promotional and advertising purposes, so there's no reason for this page to reflect a different name. Nonetheless please feel free to discuss the title here. Please sign any posts you make with your username.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Funkatastic (talkcontribs) 02:28, February 3, 2015‎

  • Oppose new title - Wikipedia's general naming policy in instances like this is to use the grammatically correct title (i.e.: WWE Fast Lane) for the title of the article and then in the prose note the stylized name ("stylized as WWE Fastlane"). I believe that is what should be used here too. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 04:32, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure where you see "instances like this". It seems "Fastlane" is a proper noun, similar to Disney's Fastpass. We don't have an article at We Are Toys or Easy Pass. If an entity's proper name is "Batman", who are we to decide it "should" be "Bat Man"? - SummerPhD (talk) 05:04, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The proper name is Battman. InedibleHulk (talk) 18:41, 6 February 2015 (UTC) [reply]
  • Oppose - Basically agreeing with CRR. Also, SummerPhD, after some quick research, "Fastlane" is only a proper noun when 'Fast' and 'lane' are seperate (ex. "Fast Lane"). TheMeaningOfBlah (talk) 05:08, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep at Fastlane It seems that the page was moved during this discussion so I was confused at first as to what the users above are opposed to. As SummerPhD points out, it should not be up to us to force a proper name onto something. WWE seems to have settled with "Fastlane" and this article should reflect that.LM2000 (talk) 05:34, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as "Fastlane" - WP:COMMON would apply here. Unfortunately, the sources for this article suck. We repeatedly cite WWE which consistently uses "Fastlane" as a proper noun. The other "sources" here are not reliable sources for this article: a howstuffworks article that doesn't mention the topic of this article and two blogs. That leaves us with WWE which clearly uses "Fastlane" as the title. Until such time as independent reliable sources are consistently using something else, the name is the name. - SummerPhD (talk) 05:42, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as "Fastlane" - WWE is holding the event. So if WWE wants to call it Fastlane as one word, we follow them. We will only differ from WWE in terms of using capital letters like NXT ArRIVAL is NXT Arrival. starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 07:49, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    You're right, my opposition is withdrawn. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 09:29, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Both, actually. Sorry for the confusion. If the consensus was mixed, I'd have been more serious about agreeing that Vince is the boss and fans don't know what they want in a title. InedibleHulk (talk) 18:36, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Theme Music

[edit]

WWE Fastlane's official theme song is "Faster" by Kid Ink from his "Full Speed" Album[1] not "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taylan98 (talkcontribs) 16:51, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Head to head battle.

[edit]

I just realized I have to make a choice tomorrow. Do I watch two guys actually fight, without a realistic chance of title ramifications, or do I watch two guys not actually fight, with a guaranteed title shot on the line?

More importantly, have UFC and WWE gone head to head before, and is this notable? I can't remember having to choose, offhand, and Googling is tricky. There are some lower-quality sources that point out this coexistence, but I haven't seen one saying it's the first time. You? InedibleHulk (talk) 09:11, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox is screwed up, and Rusev beat Cena by submission, not disqualification. 109.149.66.141 (talk) 13:00, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Results Card Contains Many Errors

[edit]

A few of the matches listed are wrong. The main event of Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan is not listed. Also a tag team match involving Roman Reigns did not take place on this card and should not be listed. There may be more error. 14sheasmith59 (talk) 07:02, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@14sheasmith59 I agree, this needs to be fixed. AlexEdgbertCHS (talk) 22:42, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
